What Happens at the Appointment PDF Print E-mail

You will receive advice on any disease outbreaks occurring at the time of your travel and the recommended vaccinations and anti malarial medication or yellow fever vaccination if required.  Gastro packs containing anti-diarrhoeal medicines are also offered to susceptible travellers.


You will receive the first doses of all your vaccines at the time of the appointment, along with the International Certificate of Vaccination (approved by the NZ Ministry of Health).

In addition we sell a range of travel products that aim for a safe trip: insect repellents, water purification tablets, altitude sickness treatments and first aid kits.

Allow at least 30 minutes for your appointment with the travel doctor.  And to ensure that you do not experience an adverse reaction to your immunisations, you will be asked to stay at the clinic for another 20 minutes after you have received your last immunisation.
